The Essentials of Labor is a 4 hour comprehensive labor preparation class:
- Spinning Babies for Labor and Birth
- Understanding the Phases and Hormones of Labor
- Comfort Measures for labor
- Productive resting positions
- Epidural essentials for healthy fetal progress
The Essentials of Birth is an 7 hour Comprehensive Birth Education Class that covers all of the above plus the understanding risk, fetal monitoring, induction, interventions, assisted birth and cesareans and how to choose a provider.
This class combines Spinning Babies® essentials for labor and birth with a full overview of labor phases and comforts. Gain deeper knowledge of the phases of labor, how to use massage, tens units, water immersion, fascial release and movement to support yourself (or your partner) through labor. This class will help you deepen the understanding of the hormones of labor and how they affect you, and help you better understand what to do and when to do it, in your labor journey.
The Essentials of Labor is a 4 hour class and the cost is $225 per couple (class size is limited)
The Essentials of Birth is $325 and includes a meal break (please bring your meal!)
